To begin, we’d like to explain what a patient journey is and how to navigate it.
A patient journey is the experience of a patient when interacting with the healthcare system. It portrays all touchpoints, interactions, and emotions they experience along the way.
To help you navigate their journey, we have designed personas. These are fictitious characters with different backgrounds, personalities, motivations, and barriers. We created them based on research and represent the healthcare users.
The persona you choose will go through different stages, from when they realize they are feeling sick to when they get treated by a rheumatologist. In these stages you’ll see the interactions with the healthcare system, and care providers and how these make them feel.
